Our Approach
We started Paws2People because we've felt, firsthand, how stressful and confusing it can be to find a puppy the right way — scrolling through Facebook groups, chasing WhatsApp chats that go quiet, never quite sure who you're really talking to. We wanted something better: a place where buyers can find breeders with real credentials, and where the whole process feels safe and transparent from the first message to bringing your puppy home.
Every breeder on our platform is verified — we check their registration with a recognised kennel body, confirm their identity, and ask them to commit to our Code of Ethics before they're allowed to list. Every litter and puppy listing is reviewed by our team before it goes live. And when you pay a deposit, your money is held securely until you've collected your puppy, not just handed over on trust.
We also want to be upfront about something important: registration with a kennel body reflects a breeder's lineage records and standing with that registry — it's a meaningful signal of legitimacy, but like anywhere in life, it isn't a guarantee of any individual puppy's health. That's part of why we built the review, document, and verification systems we have — to give buyers as much real information as possible before they commit.
